July / August 2015 4 It is hard to believe that we are already half way through 2015 but here we are! We have had several challenges to our plans and events due to the continued rain storms this spring but the weather now seems to be going back to what passes for normal in Kansas City. One very nice trend that I have been very happy about is the new people who continue to come out to events for the first time and join in the fun. I think at every event I have met new people and at the end of the event they were very glad that they stepped out and joined the fun. I continue to encourage all members that have been shy about coming out to pick an event and see what you think. I am confident that you will be glad that you take step to engage in the opportunities. You might make some new friends to enjoy more events with. I continue to encourage you all to start conversations with Porsche owners that you somewhat know or maybe don't know and ask them about if they have ever considered joining PCA. You all are the best marketing team for us as you have the positive experiences and know what the club is all about. I think any growth of any organization is a very healthy and brings in new ideas that we may wish to encompass into our world. There are always opportunities to learn and expand our ideas. Enjoy the second half of the year and get out and drive your cars as much and often as you can. That is why we bought them. I have a favor... Having said all these things I have a favor to ask of you all. When you are out and about and you see a Porsche that you don't recognize please ask them if they are PCA members and let them know how you feel about the club.
