Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will help to implement the SimmonsCollege Strategic Plan andwill have an opportunity to develop,with others, a shared vision for the School ofManagement and the strategies to support its implementation. The School ofManagement offers an undergraduatemajor inmanagement as well as theMaster of Business Administration,Master ofHealthcare Administration,Master of CommunicationsManagement and executive education programs. A member of the President's Council, the Dean will provide strong academic leadership and vision; strong financial management; oversight of the tenure and promotion processes; pursuit of excellence in scholarship and research; recruitment and retention of diverse faculty, staff and students; foster an environment that promotes collaborations; cultivate community relations; invest in resource development and fundraising; and enhance the reputation of the School ofManagement nationally and internationally.
