RETAILOBSERVER.COM SEPTEMBER 2015 62 A t the United Servicers Association, we're excited to tell you about the service training programs we have assembled for our 2015 fall training: the Regional Service Training Institute (RSTI) and the Institute of Service Management (ISM). The theme of this year's events is "Know More, Make More," a notion that all of us can take to heart, regardless of our industry, role or responsibilities. It's a broad idea, one that encourages us to "learn ways to be more efficient with our time, more analytical with our processes, and more profitable in our bottom lines." "Know More, Make More" may seem to be easier said than done, but at this year's service training we have gathered some of the best minds in business, marketing, service, sales and much more—to share insights and ideas into how you can make the most of your efforts in your day-to-day work. 2015 REGIONAL SERVICE TRAINING INSTITUTE (RSTI) The 2015 Regional Training Program or RSTI program consists of 17 two-day events with technical and business training held strategically around the U.S. and Canada. Each event is sponsored by a local parts distributor, Fred's Academy, Rossware Computing and Whirlpool. 2015 is shaping up to be the most comprehensive training program to-date. The RSTI programs will run Wednesday and Thursday this year. Technical training will include dual evaporator refrigeration, Samsung refrigeration, wiring schematics, convection cooking and dishwashers. This is the most comprehensive training program on the newest technology available today. In addition to technical training, we will have service process training for technicians and office staff including soft skills, technology to improve productivity, how to sell more repair jobs and making your service department run smoother with increased profits.
