deep in the vehicle com-
parison but my observations
were that the C4S was an
amazingly capable vehicle,
requiring slightly different
steering inputs, and clearly
had an advantage on the low
friction courses, was amaz-
ing on the slalom and road
course, but I could not drift it
to save my life. The Porsche
ceramic carbon brakes were
simply incredible and had
about the same initial bite as
the cast iron OEM disks but
with a stronger progressive
pedal, time after time.
Porsche indicates that the
PEC is designed to intro-
duce both new consumers to
the Brand as well as to offer
Porsche enthusiasts a chance
to experience "all things
Porsche". After my experi-
ence, I would suggest that
they have done just that and
judging from the responses
and feedback I heard from
my fellow driver attendees,
I would say that they have
succeeded. I would highly
recommend the experience
to any current and future
owner.
The new PEC in Atlanta
exceeded my expectations
and offered me a fantastic
opportunity to drive some
fantastic vehicles, improve
my skills and to make some
important distinctions that
ultimately helped me in the
decision to purchase a 13'
Carrera C2. I cannot wait to
go back to do the GT3-991
Turbo Course!
