PRODUCT NEWS PRODUCT NEWS 34 September - October 2015 | KINEMATIC VISCOMETER The new automated CAV 4.2 dual-bath kinematic viscometer from Cannon Instrument Co. is designed to enhance productivity, reduce costs and improve data quality for laboratories requiring ASTM D445 precision. The CAV 4.2 has dual independent baths that allow simultaneous testing at two different temperatures. Two independent sample handlers ensure reliable, unattended process- ing of up to 24 tests per hour within the viscosity range of 0.5 to 10,000 millimeters squared per second. The self-contained, bench- top instrument boasts a smaller footprint than similar dual-bath viscometers to conserve lab space. Cannon Instrument Co. 800-676-6232 ALL-PURPOSE LUBRICANT The B'laster Corporation's new and improved formulation of its all-purpose lubricant has more than 1,000 uses and applications. The lubricant displaces and repels moisture and is ideal for drying wet or submerged machinery and equip- ment such as engines, spark plugs, wires, power tools and electric motors. The high-performance formula also reduces friction and noise, and helps prevent rust and corrosion. It is available in an 8-ounce aerosol can or a 1-gallon pour can. B'laster Corporation 800-858-6605 AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION PUMPS The new series of injector-based automatic lubrica- tion pumps from Graco offers a solution where high output and fast lubrication cycles are needed to lubri- cate equipment while it's working. The new LubePro pumps are most commonly employed to lubricate machines used in food and beverage processing and packaging, glass manufacturing, tire production, injection molding, paper production and other indus- trial manufacturing and production applications. Three models are available with fac- tor y-installed low- level detection. The A900 and A1900 are designed for oil applications, while the A2600 is built for grease applications. Graco 844-241-9504 WIRE ROPE GREASE Environmental Lubricants Manufacturing's new bio- based, aluminum-complex wire rope grease offers adhesion and resistance to water washout while meeting national and international standards for biodegradabilit y and toxicity. Derived from the com- pany's aluminum-complex food-grade greases, which are NSF registered, the new wire rope grease is Vessel General Permit (VGP) compliant and comes in NLGI grades 0 and 1. The grease is available in pails, drums or larger containers. Environmental Lubricants Manufacturing 319-824-5203
