SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL
Valvoline's new synthetic motor oil is intended to pro-
tect high-mileage vehicles from engine breakdowns.
Formulated with a full synthetic base oil and a pre-
mium chemistry to stand up to extreme tempera-
tures, the Full Synthetic High Mileage motor oil is
designed to flow when the
engine is cool and main-
tain its protection barrier
as engine temperatures
rise. The oil's antioxidant
additives help to reduce
oil viscosity breakdown to
prevent sludge and deposit
formation. The advanced
anti-wear additives also
stay in the oil longer for
protection against friction
and wear.

ONSITE OIL ANALYSIS SYSTEM
Spectro Scientific's new MiniLab 53 onsite oil analysis system combines
multiple tests in one unit to monitor lubricant chemistry, contamina-
tion and machinery wear. Designed for use by industrial plant person-
nel, the MiniLab 53 provides machine wear data and trend analyses,
enabling users to make immediate, condition-based decisions. In ana-
lyzing fluid chemistry, the FluidScan IR technology measures acid num-
ber, base number, soot, oxidation, nitration and sulfation. The system
also provides kinematic viscosity measurements at 40 degrees C, and
directly images wear particle silhouettes and counts.

OIL DRUM PALLETIZER
The new Model 82A-
GT pouring palletizer
from Morse makes it
easy to move, palletize
and pour a plastic,
steel or fiber oil drum.
The geared tilt fea-
ture allows operators
to rotate drums 360
degrees end-over-end
and lock horizontally
to dispense. The sta-
ble V-shaped base lets
you place drums at
pallet corners and tilt/
pour at up to 26 inches
high without the risks
of manually handling heavy drums. The palletizer is
also available with power-lift raising and a tilt brake,
which automatically prevents out-of-control rotation
of heavy, unbalanced drums.

HIGH-PRESSURE FILTERS
The new line of high-pressure filter assemblies from Swift-JB International
features stainless-steel construction for both filter housings and elements.
With working pressures up to 20,000 psi (1,378 bar), these filters are
intended for extreme environments such as those found in the offshore oil
industr y, chemical processing, hydraulics, power generation, automotive
and other demanding applications. The FJV-3 Series high-pressure filters
use porous metal-felt filter elements that employ filter media of thin fila-
ments of non-woven stainless steel, making them ideal for highly corrosive,
highly viscous or radioactive applications.
