Industrial Lubricants Applications Manager
Responsibilities
• Establish contacts to wind- & industrial gear oil end users
• Identify opportunities for Evonik gear oil technology in industrial markets
• Organize & execute fi eld trials with industrial partners
• OEM liaison management at industrial machine OEMs such as wind turbine
manufacturers
• Train Evonik organization on industrial gear oil market requirements and
technical needs
• Close and regular exchange with Technical Service- & OEM team / joint visits
at gear OEMs possible
• Support marketing team in converting fi eld data into eff ective marketing tools
Requirements
• Engineer or other successfully completed technical degree
• Experienced industrial gear expert with deep knowledge about gearbox
lubrication
• Led projects with industrial equipment end users or was responsible for fi eld
service
• More than 5 years experience from a lubricant company (Technical Service,
A ermarket Service), an industrial machine company, e.g. a wind turbine
company with responsabilities to the drive train (not wind turbine- or blade
construction) or a machine or wind turbine operation & maintenance company
with insight to lubrication & gears
• Travel fl exibility and willingness to be fl exible to align with operations &
maintenance of industrial equipment (servicing can happen 24/7) and
occasionally site activity around wind turbine operations
• Fluent in spoken and written English
