I'm Toni, and I'm a modern literature teacher. I love that I get the opportunity to share my passion for this type of writing with my students, particularly material from the Harlem Renaissance. There is so much to discover, so I waste no time getting to all the wonderful resources I have at my disposal. I want my students to be able to study the history of this time period, explore the common themes, and understand how it impacted the writing of literature. I play on the school's soccer team and we are undefeated this year, but it takes a lot of practice and hard work to stay that way. Between soccer practices, homework, school, and chores at home, I spend a lot of time accessing assignments on the go, through either my iPhone or iPad. I even play catch-up on the bus on the way to soccer games! Right now I have a group history project I am working on, and our group meets at the local coffee shop.
