If that's the case, then Jimmy Williams may be the nation's top big man coach. Williams joined the Memphis staff nine games into the season, and he not only transformed the play of the Tigers posts, but also helped turn around the fortunes of the 2011-12 campaign. His work with Tarik Black is most evident, helping the 6-foot-8 sophomore turn a slow start into an All-C-USA second team selection. In his years of coaching, Williams has worked with some of the best big men, including 1976 NBA No. 1 draſt pick Mychal Thompson, NBA Hall of Famer Kevin McHale and current NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett.
