Prior to the start of the Conference USA Tournament, the league announced its award winners, and several Memphis players earned honors. Will Barton, Tarik Black and Chris Crawford all received All-C-USA accolades, and Black was also named to the C-USA All-Defensive Team.

Barton took home the biggest trophy as C-USA's Player of the Year. Barton became the fourth Tigers player to earn the honor, along with Antonio Burks, Rodney Carney and Chris Douglas-Roberts.
The Tigers awards parade continued following the C-USA Tournament with Barton, Black and Joe Jackson named to the league's All-Tournament Team. Jackson was selected the tourney's MVP, becoming the first player in C-USA Tournament history to win back-to-back MVP awards.
