November / December 2015 12 1. Where are you from and what brought you to KC? St. Joseph has been my home for 60+ years. 2. How long have you been married, kids or pets? Connie and I have been married for 44 Years. We have 3 grown children... Erika, Nick and Whitney 3. What is your background or profession? I have been in the petroleum business my whole life. Deluxe Truck Stop is my focus and we are dedicated to customer service. We specifically are in the truck washing business. Exterior, interior, livestock trailers and we do Kosher and Food Grade certified tank trailer washouts. Long time customers that have truly become investors. 4. When did you join PCA? I joined PCA approximately 3 years ago. Started attending the Kansas City events in the fall of 2013. 5. What kind of Porsche do you have? Currently we have a 2011 Carrera S cabriolet and a 2005 Carrera S that my son Nick and I are doing some track events with. 6. What is your favorite thing about your car? The 2011 is black with Carrera red interior. Not often seen color combination. 7. What have you done to personalize it? The 2005 Carrera S has had a lot of great performance/ handling modifications. Nick had it wrapped with graphics that we find to be a lot of fun. 8. Favorite memory with car - or funny story? Favorite car memories are the people associated with the car hobby. Still a Corvette owner, I was very active with the National Council of Corvette Clubs.
