LUBE VAN Westmor Industries' tower-style delivery model lube van is engineered to limit operator bending and maneuvering to access hose reels and meters. Compared to the company's side-delivery models, the new tower style is intended to be a more ergonomically friendly solution. Completely customizable, each van features roadside and curbside doors as well as a 5,000-pound capacity lift gate with a 60-by-80-inch platform. Installed inside the roadside access door is one steel tower housing a bottom and top section with two meters, two reels and two pumps. Westmor Industries westmor-ind.com 800-992-8981 LUBRICANT HOSE MONITORING SYSTEM SKF's new hose connection control (HCC) is designed for monitoring lubrication lines on construction machines. The HCC unit alerts the machine operator immediately if there is a fault in the main line from the pump or in the feed lines to the lubrication point. Requir- ing either 12- or 24-volt DC power, the unit can monitor up to 20 hoses, is expandable and easy to retrofit into existing lubrication systems. It includes an analyzer unit, a connector that acts as an electric isolator between the lubrication line and the lubrication metering device, and a connection cable to the analyzer. With the antenna placed near the tip of the pressure transmitter, a press of a button activates the transmitter. Pressure is read in less than a second. The hand-held reader displays and stores data for further evaluation. In addition to the pressure value, other tracking information is also trans- mitted including media temperature, date and time of the measurement. The portable Spectroscout XRF analyzer can be operated with minimal training and offers dependable accuracy and sensitivity at a wide range of detection levels. The spectro- meter includes an intuitive interface, simplified software that interacts via a standard computer and predefined application packages. The unique iCAL calibration requires a single integrated sample and only 5 minutes, reducing recalibration work.
