Declaration of Major (Matriculation) The matriculation process is designed to help students succeed in reaching their educational goals. Applicants are not required to matriculate unless they are seeking to complete a program of study listed below. _____YES, I do intend to pursue a program of study at SCC (matriculated). n If you intend to apply for Financial Aid, you must declare a major. n All students must declare a major prior to completing 24 credits toward graduation. n If you are unsure of which major you would like to declare, please make an appointment with a Student Affairs advisor (call 856.351.2716). n Please review the SCC catalog (visit www.salemcc.edu and click on college catalog) for the requirements on a particular major. _____NO, I do not intend to pursue a program of study at SCC (non-matriculated).
