Corinth School District The Corinth School District, recognized as one of Mississippi's top school districts, is dedicated to the mission of creating a world-class 21st century educational experience for all students to achieve academic success, develop personal and civic respon- sibility, and achieve career and college readiness for the future. Corinth schools, students, faculty and staff continue to be recog- nized on the local, state, and national levels. All schools are fully accredited by AdvancEd (South- ern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Mississippi Department of Education). The District has an exceptional faculty with over 29 holding National Board Certification. Three schools in the district serve approximate 2700 students. Schools are structured to allow students to attend school in age appropriate environments. Corinth Elementary serves students in grades Pre K-4. Students in grades 5-8 are served at Corinth Middle and students in grades 9-12 attend Corinth High School Academic and Performing Arts Center. The District was most recently recognized by District Admin- istrator Magazine as a District of Distinction for its work on the eMerge Initiative. eMerge is a comprehensive program designed to reinvent the educational program for students in Corinth with a focus on early learning, literacy, curriculum enhancements, and personalized and blended learning. The District has implemented a 1:1 initiative with all students in PreK-2 having an iPad and students in grades 3-12 receiv- ing a MacBook. Students in grades 6-12 take them home each day to advance learning through the use of multiple innovative software packages provided by the District.
