Stetson School of Business and Economics, due to the retirement of Dean Carl Joiner, who has provided exemplary service to Mercer University for thirty years. Accredited by AACSB in the first half of 2004, the Stetson School is committed to being one of the preeminent business schools in the country and invites viable prospects to explore this exceptional opportunity. The new dean will have the option to live in Atlanta or Washburn University School of Business The School of Business invites applications and nomina- tions for the following positions to begin Fall 2005. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. Macon and must have the capacity, credentials, energy, and wisdom to lead the School to its next level of national prominence. The Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics offers undergraduate and graduate programs designed to enable, enhance, and expand professional careers, civic responsibility, and lifelong learning. With more than 1,500 students in the Atlanta and Macon area, the School offers the Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Executive Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science in Health Care Management programs. The ideal candidate will hold appropriate credentials and be an accomplished and recognized leader in business edu- cation. Strategic visioning and organizational expertise are essential requirements. An ability to forge relationships with local, regional, and national business communities is also of prime importance. The Dean of the Stetson School is expected to promote the values and mission of the School in relating to students, faculty, staff, alumni, administrators, and the board of trustees.
