Anti-leak capsules
Embo Caps LP+ two-piece capsules—
manufactured on unique mold pins that
reduce cap-body clearance—have four
dimples on groove of cap to lock cap-
sule and to prevent separation. Cap-
sules minimize leaks of liquids, fine
powders, hot melts, heavy slurry prod-
ucts, and other fills that are difficult for
softgels. Company offers three types:
LP+ VG capsules made from HPMC;
LP+ Fish for marine-derived omega-3
formulations or those that require low
oxygen permeability; and LP+ PEG
(polyethylene glycol) capsules for
hygroscopic formulations.

Manual capsule fillers
ProFiller capsule fillers are used for R&D, small-scale production of new products
and product variations, and clinical trial materials. Models range from 100-hole
handheld to 300-hole benchtop units and handle capsule sizes of 5 to 000, 2el to
00el, and AAA to D. Output ranges from 2,000 to 9,000 capsules per hour. GMP-
compliant machines are easy to operate and work well with hard-to fill, non-free-
flowing-powders. Parts are dishwasher-safe. Accessories include powder vibrators,
partial-batch kits, and over-encapsulation attachments.
