Welcome to the National Geographic Learning Catalogue 2016 This year we've got a lot to shout about – our latest Primary publishing Hopscotch (page 26), an additional level of our best-selling teenage course Close-up (page 38) and the revamped new edition of Hugh Dellar and Andrew Walkley's Outcomes (page 58). Top of that list is the evolution of our partnership with TED. We've been incorporating TED Talks into our materials for a little over a year now with series such as World English Second Edition and 21st Century Reading and this year we are really excited to be launching Keynote to the world. Keynote is our first 4-skills British English series and we're beaming like proud parents about it. Find out more on page 54. The partnership we have with TED is really special for a number of reasons. Firstly because it dovetails perfectly into our National Geographic Learning identity of authentic, global and real-world content. Many of the speakers are from across the globe and all are at the top of their professional game, providing insightful, inspiring and diverse information and language. Secondly what really links National Geographic Learning materials and TED Talks is the passion and desire of those involved to make where we live a better place. However big or small they all share a common goal of wanting to change the world for the better. As teachers and educators that is what we are also doing every day and we should have materials that reflect that power to change the direction of our students in the right direction. As you browse through this catalogue keep in mind that opportunity you have to make a positive impact not only on your students but also on the world we live in. Have an inspiring year!
