Equipped with folding tines and foldable holders, glass support
bars and a third rack for cutlery, large items, cooking utensils or
espresso cups, the new dishwasher's interior allows for maximum load
flexibility. Additional new features include a holder for long-stemmed
glasses and an insert for securing Gaggenau's Gastronorm pans.
The new flexible rack system allows for effortless loading and
emptying, thanks to its smooth gliding rails on all three levels and
an extra-extendable pull-out rack on the top rack. It also features a
soft-closing system for the top and bottom rack.
The DF 280/281 dishwasher. The fully integrated dishwasher is
available in a width of 24-inches and in two tub heights, allowing for
more interior space. On handle-less cabinet fronts, the door simply
opens with a slight application of pressure, thanks to Gaggenau's
push-to-open function. The dishwasher can also be installed with a
handle and custom panel; the push-to-open function remains active
with this configuration.
The dishwashing cycle's remaining time is projected onto the
kitchen floor, another special feature of the new models. Consistent
with the design of Gaggenau's 400 series ovens, the dishwasher
can also be installed with a stainless steel-backed full glass door,
which is available as an optional accessory.
