A lthough the word has yet to be deemed worthy of inclusion in the vener- able Oxford English Dictionar y, inventrepreneur is defined by Investopedia.com as, "A type of entrepreneur who seeks to market or pro- duce an invention of his or her own creation." If Investopedia's editors require a photo to accom- pany that definition, they need look no further than Carmel's Nicholas De Luca. One wall of De Luca's Sand City workshop/office is covered with framed patents, more than 30 in all. He has plenty more patents pending, and there are constantly ideas swirling through his head.
