December 2015 SMOKESHOP 65 Colibri Group has launched the Colibri Boss, the world's first triple-flame cigar lighter with an integrated swing-out, double guillotine cigar cutter. It's the company's latest cigar lighter- cutter-in-one accessory, a format the company pioneered in the 1990s. Built on state- of-the-art technology and ergonomic design, Boss features a pyramidal jet flame system that creates a robust wall of fire for an effortless light. Intake vents allow for increased air flow, which helps the premixing of air and fuel within the burner and augments the lighter's high altitude performance. Fuel levels are easily visible via the "blue illusion" fuel window. The Boss is available in four finishes—metallic black/ matte black; metallic silver/matte black; red/matte black; and blue/matte black. Suggested retail is $150. First developed and launched in 2011 by Cigar Tech, the cutter is now being produced at Quality Importers' own factory, ensuring consistent availability. To use, the head of a cigar is simply pushed into the device to incise the cap, providing a clean draw free of stray tobacco clippings. A composite plastic version of the capsule-shaped cutter in black is available now, retailing for $20, while a metal version, available in a choice of silver, black, or gun metal finishes, is slated to ship in January 2016.
