POWDER COATING, March 2016 9 UPDATE:Suppliers IHEA announces new division TAYLOR MILL, Ky.—The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) has launched its new Induction Division to represent a very important segment of the heat processing industry. This division will focus on educating both the induction OEMs and end users of thermal process technologies on best practices such as safety and opera- tions, where the technology is best used, and keeping the industry updated on the latest innovations related to induc- tion. The three charter induction OEMs are Ajax Tocco Magnethermic, Ambrell, and SMS Elotherm, with Taylor-Win- field joining in 2016. The utility mem- bers involved are Duke Energy, Georgia Power, Alabama Power, and the Elec- tric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Michael Stowe, Advanced Energy, is the division chair.
