68 SMOKESHOP February 2016 The battery-operated HumiFan from Xikar provides intermit- tent air circulation in desktop humidors to prevent stagnant conditions, allowing cigars to "breathe" by redis- tributing the air, diffusing inconsistent humidity levels and providing a more stable environment for premium cigars. The angled centrifugal fan, which is pre-programmed to automatically circulate air in 15-second cycles every 15 minutes, maximizes air circulation, while the oversized side intake provides for maximum air redistribution. Fan speed is ideally calibrated for optimal humidity redistribution. The unit operates on four AA batter- ies (included) and features an LED battery status indicator. At just under 6 inches wide by 3 inches tall and one inch deep, the unit's small footprint maximizes cigar capacity inside the humidor. HumiFan is sold in countertop POS cases of six, and has a suggested retail price of $39.99.
