Whenever I contemplate my message for the annual report, I like to scan the inspirational messages I keep under my clear desk blotter. In perusing it this year, I came across St. Theresa's prayer and the following words: "May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you." Each and every day, I see our staff pass on to our patients and residents the love given to them. I see it in the parents who offer thanks for the attentive and extraordinary care given to their son. Message from the CEO 3 It's also in the letters from patients, like the registered nurse from Yonkers, NY, who took the time to share how professional, friendly and helpful our staff was when they cared for her. These are just a few of the countless examples of our staff passing along their gift to those in our care. Over the past 21 years, I have been blessed to work with a truly amazing group of people who pass on their love every day. And I, in turn, will always pass on my love to the staff. I have been honored to serve this community and hope to continue serving in a different and meaningful way. It has been a wonderful 21 years and a great gift I will always hold dear. Thank you.
