As we reflect back on a very successful year, we have enormous gratitude for all who helped make it possible. Inside The V, our Board of Directors is exemplary. Their combined strong governance and ability to be entrepreneurial has set a course for excellence in all we do. Our Scientific Advisory Committee is composed of outstanding doctors and scientists who volunteer countless hours to ensure that the research funded by The V Foundation is not only scientifically sound but also important and meaningful in the fight against cancer. Boards, committees and individuals around the country are deeply engaged in fundraising for our "Not a Moment to Lose Campaign," hosting events such as our V Foundation Wine Celebration in California, Virginia Vine in Charlottesville and the Dick Vitale Gala in Florida. Furthermore, one very generous donor made the purchase of our new building not only possible but economically very wise. Thank you to every one of you. Our partners are also extraordinary. Individuals and teams put on events in hundreds of communities that fund The V Foundation. Donors are generous and unfailingly loyal. Companies make us a part of their sales and marketing and their will to do the right thing. Our founding partner, ESPN, goes above and beyond every day of the year. You have won our undying gratitude. To each of you who has stretched to higher goals, who with us will never give up, we send our thanks. To those who are just learning about us, please let us help you understand why a gift to The V Foundation is a great investment. To all, we pledge our transparent good stewardship and our unremitting passion to put an end to cancer forever. Please visit this link to read my open letter to our Board of Directors. Very best regards, Susan Braun A LETTER FROM OUR CEO The V Foundation 2
