fill, 60, 65, 70, 71, 72, 73,
74... That is when I quit
counting.
I don't know if it was
the wonderful weather,
or Aristocrat's beautiful
facilities, the KCRPCA
camaraderie or the free food
at the food trucks (I'll let
you guess), but the turnout
was amazing.
At one point, Robert even
stopped by to say thank you
for the great turnout. He
never does that.
I took the time to walk
Aristocrat's large parking
lots, filled with all kinds of
wonderful cars.
The KC Exotic and
Supercar Club had an
eclectic selection of cars
come out. Aston Martin,
Lotus, Nobel, Dodge Vipers,
Pantera, Cobra and a few
other unique marques were
all proudly polished and on
display.
My personal favorite,
other than my Ghost, was a
little red Ferrari Dino. I love
the story of the Dino. It is
a gem of a car, though once
shunned because Enzo's son
Dino designed it. It's lack
of a true Ferrari V12 or V8
and not wearing a Ferrari
badge left them cheap and
unwanted through the 80's
and 90's, but not anymore.
Now they are highly sought
after.
