Dinner with Friends-O
CINCO DE MAYO
T
his year, Cinco de Mayo provided the
perfect opportunity to get together
with friends and enjoy an evening of
great food, laughter and a parking lot full of
Porsches.
The Kansas City Region PCA met at K-
Macho's and shared dinner on their patio.
Almost 30 hungry club members came out.
Of course, the men's evening started with
lively conversations about who added a new
exhaust or had their eye on a new ride. The
ladies' conversation was much better! And
that's the point. Let me explain.
One of the things that makes this club spe-
cial is that it is so much more than just a car
club. Yes, it is the love of the cars that brings
us together, but it is the friendships and fel-
lowships that keep us together.
My husband, Stan, has long had a love for
Porsche. So there was little question that
once he purchased the 944 Turbo, that he
would join the Porsche club. I wanted him
to enjoy the camaraderie of other Porsche
enthusiasts. What I did not expect was how
KRCPCA Fiesta!
