RETAILOBSERVER.COM AUGUST 2016 24 P resenting reliable, high-performance cooking functionality with unexpected features and iconic style, Tecnogas SUPERIORE entered the North American market for the first time in late 2015, and the brand's culinary product portfolio has made its debut in key markets in the U.S with impressive results throughout 2016. What sets SUPERIORE apart is its signature style and "spontaneous" design elements, inspired not by engineering specs, but by the emotions of the chef and those that are enjoying the food. This includes unexpected options and customizable features such as giant gas ovens, a Panorama window that easily pops out for cleaning, versatile cooktops, and intriguing finishes with iconic Italian style. "The vision of SUPERIORE is that it is designed for real. Real parties, real families, real meals, real life," says Gian Luca Geneletti, marketing manager for Tecnogas SUPERIORE. "We take pride in the design and details of our products, but they are also impeccably engineered to deliver premium performance. They can be a showpiece and work horse at the same time." SUPERIORE is headlined by two collections— NEXT and DECO ranges and hoods—engineered specifically for the U.S market. The NEXT product line features contemporary design and includes 30", 36" and 48" hoods and gas ranges. The 36" range is proving to be the most popular size option, based on product feedback from North American dealers and sales representatives. This is most likely due to its unique creation process, which involved sizing the appliance to literally fit an entire Thanksgiving dinner in its cavity, versus manufacturing to standard specifications. Looking to the next size up, the 48" NEXT models offer cooking excellence multiplied by three in the first-of-its-kind TriFuel™ range, providing the ultimate experience in culinary flexibility. The gas oven is paired with a cooktop with three heat sources, therefore, three ways to cook. Four efficient induction zones with turbo boost (3.7 kW of power each) share the space with an 18,000 BTU gas burner with simmer mode, a 6500 BTU medium pot sized gas burner, and an integrated electric griddle. In addition to its hand polished stainless steel, NEXT ranges introduce a striking design feature: the Panorama window. Food enthusiasts can enjoy the show with a "widescreen" view that is crafted with triple layered glass for maximum thermal insulation so the door remains cool to touch even when the oven is heated to 500 degrees. No more opening the oven door several times to check food and affecting the internal temperature. Everything in the oven is in full view. The DECO line, in 36" and 48" models, represents inspiration from 20th century Italian art and offers the consumer the opportunity to totally customize their appliances in color and finish. DECO ranges and hoods come in a variety of matte finishes including Classic Black, Brown, Red or Cream, as well as a choice of brass, gold or chrome trim. The ultimate vision of the SUPERIORE brand is to "foster the spirit and pleasure of good food shared with family and friends in our products," says Antonio Di Tommaso, CEO of Tecnogas SUPERIORE, "and we're happy to offer these incredible culinary and style features in an appealing price segment." With launches in eight major U.S. markets – Miami, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New Jersey, New York, Seattle, Dallas and Houston, and Southern California – the Tecnogas SUPERIORE collection has elicited positive response from dealers, designers and consumers alike. The brand's next big event will be at WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica, November 3-5. For more information on the SUPERIORE collection, please visit www. tecnogassuperiore.us.
