MONITOR MACHINES The capabilities of the award-winning FACTIVITY system can be extended to allow monitoring of machines/ lines/ cells. FACTIVITY Monitor is fully integrated with the FACTIVITY Base system and with a variety of ERP systems. FACTIVITY turns supply chain activity into real-time business information. FACTIVITY Monitor turns floor asset activity and downtime into actionable management information. Its open systems design delivers real-time information to supervisors and management. The FACTIVITY machine monitoring can display changes as they occur and produce valuable OEE metrics: • Availability • Efficiency • Yield HOW IT WORKS FACTIVITY monitors activity on the factory floor by providing: • Improved visibility into machines/lines/cell all assets currently on the floor. • Real time management alerts to poor cycle time and downtime. • Highly accurate shop floor accounting with no operator data entry The Resource Viewer is used by supervisors to view performance on machines, lines and cells as each cycle completes. As with all screens, the display is customizable to match your needs. Colors indicate real-time machine status. GETTING STARTED FACTIVITY Monitor is flexible, scalable and easy to implement: • The HMI is worker friendly and color-coded touch screens are specifically designed for the needs of the factory floor. • Operator training is simple and intuitive...employees can be trained within two hours. • Touch screens are located where employees need them - on the factory floor. • Badge readers and security passwords can be used to protect data integrity. • Labor tracking, if required, is handled via a standard customizable FACTIVITY HMI. EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS FACTIVITY can be used to support lean manufacturing by reducing waste through: • Eliminating and/or dramatically reducing shop floor paperwork. FACTIVITY's Paperless approach enables operators to retrieve, display and collect data by means of a color-coded touch screen. • Reducing or eliminating data entry for more accurate shop floor accounting, including labor tracking. • Alerting management to efficiency problems and cycle time variances when they occur. • Improving management access to production activities.
