Three Tigers have been named a conference player of the year, with two of the three occuring in the last two seasons. The Great Midwest Conference honored Mark Little as the league player of the year in 1994 aſter hitting .435 with 21 HR, 86 RBI and 93 runs scored. Chad Zurcher became the second U of M player to earn the distinction, as he was named Conference USA Player of the Year in 2011. Zurcher hit .443 with 34 RBI and finished as the NCAA Batting Champion. Jacob Wilson collected the C-USA Player of the Year accolade in 2012, as he smashed 17 home runs, recorded 64 RBI and scored 47 runs.
