Chad Zurcher hit .443 in 2011 to become the first Memphis Tiger to win the NCAA Batting Title. He led the nation for the final 10 weeks of the season and was named to the 60-man Golden Spikes Award Watch List, the first such honor for the University of Memphis baseball program. Zurcher collected two or more hits in a game 29 times and produced three or more hits on 11 occasions. Zurcher recorded 19 doubles, 47 runs scored, 34 RBI and 12 stolen bases. He finished his U of M career second all- time with 252 hits.
