Chase Joiner threw three complete- game shutouts in 2012, the first time a Tiger pitch accomplished such a feat since 1987. Joiner finished with a 4-5 record and a 4.16 ERA in 12 starts. Of his three complete-game shutouts, two came on the road, including a 1-0 win at No. 7 UCF.
