well on Design LA offered continuous content from more
than 90 leaders in design, 2,000 modern furnishings and
products from 300 exhibitors, as well as continuing
education opportunities across four distinct design disciplines.
SHOW FLOOR FEATURES
Dwell Outdoor transformed more than 30,000 square feet into
a botanical lounge and oasis. The exhibition featured the ever-
popular Beer Garden, hundreds of hanging succulents and
plants curated by award-winning landscape designer, Jamie
Durie, as well as prefab structures including the Signature
Kitchen Suite LivingHomes by Plant Prefab, the Monogram
Modern Home, the Haier Home by Cocoon9, and a tiny home
presented by SMUD's Tiny House Competition.
The show floor included two main stages, crowd-pleasing
exhibitions, and cash and carry opportunities. A few highlights
included Fluidstance work boards where attendees could test
their balance; Signature Kitchen Suite brand ambassadors Lo
Bosworth and June Ambrose hosting cooking demonstrations
with live painting by artist Donald Robertson; Living Spaces
brewing up espresso and other libations; the fusion of digital art
with furniture by Modify; custom chairs and skateboards by RAD
Furniture; the popular Monogram Modern Home; and an adorable
playhouse by Folk Art Playhouses for the younger attendees.
American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) hosted
ELEVATE at Dwell on Design LA 2016. The ELEVATE experience
showed how ASID supports all aspects of health and wellbeing
including physical health (encouraging attendees to dance with
the DJ at the ASID lounge), social health (fostering networking
between attendees while coloring), and mental health (providing
