thing special about cruising
with a pack of Porsches, and
slotting in at the back of the
line on the off ramp to High-
way N, and the excitements
builds. Highway N is a fa-
vorite of mine; I know what
is to come and that perma-
grin stretches all too famil-
iarly across my face. The run
down highway N starts with

Cummings, as he was shep-
herding our caravan, making

part of the fold, the next 2

Missouri, to Weston and
points north. I was intro-
duced to some roads I could
not believe existed in the
Midwest. Highway 116 and
JJ are now a permanent part
of the rotation of weekend
drives.
The Cayman performed
admirably, greedily chew-
ing up corner after corner,
and stretching her legs, but
only up to the speed limit,
of course, when the chance
allowed. The route was ex-
pertly laid out, off camber
turns, a roundabout, some
nice straights to allow the
howl of a boxer 6 engine give
full throat, plenty of twists
and corners to practice some
nice heel-toe downshifting.
Well done, Sir, well done.
So after a wonderful run,
we made our way through
St. Joseph toward the roll-
