won that award 2 out of the 3 years it has
been given out.
All of the different classes of Porsche
were well represented in the show. Some
of the highlights were the number of rare
and specialty Porsches that showed up for
the event. We had six 356s, five 2016 Cay-
man GT4s and five 928s; there were also
cars like a 2016 Boxster Spyder, a 2016
Club Coupe, a 2016 Cayman GTS, three
2016 GT3s and a 997 GT3RS all entered
in the show this year. We had both a 2017
911 C4S Cabriolet and 2017 Boxster 718
at the show. That is plenty of neat Porsches
for everyone to enjoy.
KCRPCA turnout for this event was great
and I would like to thank everyone who
brought their fine automobiles to the show,
helping us make this one of the most at
-
tended events our club has had this year. I
estimated that we had over 100 club mem-
bers and spouses show up for the event.
I wish everyone could have been award-
ed a trophy for their Porsche, because
looking over all the well cleaned and pol-
ished Porsches, we had to pick out just 12
Porsches to win. We had close races in al-
most every class, but in the end the club
members themselves picked the winner in
each class.
