patio has fire pit seating that fills up for happy hour, and the main bar stocks an extensive selection of scotches and whiskeys. There's wine and local beer, too, plus craft cocktails made with herbs and citrus grown in the resor t's gardens. "We just upgraded the kitchen at Ignite this summer, and it's become one of the busiest spots at the resort," says Michael Aylmer, Ritz- Carlton Dove Mountain director of sales and marketing. "It's a great place to grab a cocktail and talk with other guests, and you'll often see our residents getting together here, as well." The resort's adjacent residential community, The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, provides options for guests who choose to extend their time in Arizona. Semi- custom, single-family homes here range from approximately 1,700 square feet to nearly 5,500 square feet. Homeowners can add stand-alone casitas to each plan, or create fully customized homes in each of three communities. Lots start at 1/3 of an acre in the Seven Saguaros and Amolillo neighborhoods, while sites in Rockpoint Ridge reach up to seven acres in size. Standard residence features include granite countertops, wood and stone flooring, and win- dow walls that slide back to create indoor-out- door living spaces oriented to sunrise, sunset and far-flung city views. Some overlook the 27 Jack Nicklaus-designed fairways, part of a course that formerly welcomed the annual World Golf Championships — Accenture Match Play Champ- ionship. Homeowners receive membership at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain, as well. A community concierge can assist with land- scaping and housekeeping services or stock a kitchen with groceries before owners return from their travels. The team coordinates chef demonstrations, wine tastings and other neigh- borhood gatherings for residents. Homeowners also have access to the main resort's spa, pools, fitness facilities and other amenities. Connections to the hotel lend a vacation-like feel to daily life, explains Dove Mountain Realty Sales Assistant Kayla Manley. "The Ritz-Carlton is the anchor of our com- munity, and the service the ladies and gentlemen of the hotel provide to homeowners is unlike any other. The environment and lifestyle created here is unmatched," she says. Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is located at 15000 North Secret Springs Drive, Marana, AZ. For more information call 800-542-8680.
