Welcome to the Blazin' M Ranch You're invited to tantalize your taste buds and tickle your funny bone with a toe-tappin, knee- slappin', wholesome good time on the historic family homestead called the Blazin' M Ranch. Located along the banks of the Verde River and in the heart of Verde Valley wine country in Cottonwood, the ranch provides visitors with Western memories to last a lifetime. Prior to dinner, you'll have time to stroll along the wooden walk of the recreated western town. Enjoy specialty shops, dress up in vintage get-ups an have an Old-Tyme photo prepared while you wait. Show off your dead- eye at the shooting gallery using a real Colt .45 with wax bullets. Channel your inner Cowboy while attempting to rope a stationary steer with a lesson from one of the resident wranglers. Belly up to the bar at the Copper Spur Saloon where a fine selection of local wines and microbrews will whet the whistles of even the thirstiest cowpokes. Tour the one-of-a-kind Wood 'N' West Museum where hand-carved wooden historical miniatures come to life or hop aboard the vintage Tractor Pull for a farm tour. The 1946 John Deere with a customized passenger car takes you past the live farm critters and into river foliage while learning a bit of history about the ranch. When the dinner bell rings, line-up for a mouth- waterin' chicken & ribs supper served on a tin plate and tin cup reminiscent of the true chuckwagon meal served on the open range more than a hundred years ago. Don't miss a visit to the Blazin' M Ranch where "happy trails" are just the beginning. 61
