Hired as the second coach in Memphis history, Natalie Poole completed her first year guiding the Tigers' program in 2012. Poole came to Memphis aſter three seasons as the head coach at McNeese State, where she took the Cowgirls to the 2010 NCAA Regionals. A former standout catcher at McNeese State, Poole compiled a 100-84 overall record and a 55-35 conference mark during her three years at the Lake Charles, La., school. She was named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year in 2009. Poole also served as the head coach at Georgia Southern for seven seasons and was the SoCon Coach of the Year in 2002.
