Teo and his team have been hard at work identifying and buying into stallions that have the potential to be future top sires. In addition to WinStar resident Exaggerator and California Chrome, who will soon call Taylor Made home, they have purchased in- terests in international superstar Flintshire (GB), who is set to stand his first season at Hill 'n' Dale; Aga Khan Stud's Siyouni (Fr); and Ballylinch's New Bay (GB). "When you want to invest, the only way to invest is to invest wisely and invest in the brand that the general public can recognize," Teo offered. "So, therefore, horses like Cali- fornia Chrome and even the latest addition, New Bay, will definitely be our habits. We enjoy it with the partners as well." As evident by the list of stallions, who stand at some of the world's top farms, Teo and his group have a good working relation- ship with leaders across the global industry. "We have made it a point from day one to not own any stud farm so we can partner with any farm on any stallion," Teo explained. "So far, the partnerships with everyone seem to work very well. The big farms, they welcome us because we don't have any farm and we don't have any conflicts." He added, "We are very fortunate in our early years that people appreciate what we are doing. I think it boils down to the fact people equate us as a group as people who do things by the rules. We appreciate talent and we have resources. Three years down the road now, we have all kinds of people approaching us whether they want to work for us or want to partner with us. It is just a good sign.
