"AUGUSTINE'S WORKSHOP," 2004 "Augustine crafts these amazing sculptures in Tlaquepaque, outside Guadalajara. His shop has four rooms like this, lit with natural light. I converted the image to black and white because it's much more powerful. I have enough images of this place to do an entire show, and I have several of Augustine's pieces in my home." the most stunning, colorful images they can frame in their viewfinders. "We generally head out separately early in the morning and reconvene at lunch, then meet again for happy hour and to view photos," Geiger says. "We all have our own photography businesses and these trips inspire us. There's no hoarding of locations and no jealousy…only friendship and mutual respect. We truly enjoy each other's company." Sometimes, one will lead the others to a choice location they've found. "Seeing each other's interpretation of the same subjects is fascinating," Geiger says. When he's out in the field, Geiger is focused on finding the objects he's "GIRL IN THE WINDOW," 2012 "I turned a corner in Jodhpur, India—it's called the Blue City—and looked up. This girl was looking down. I took a shot, she heard the shutter and looked right at me. It's a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
