I converted the image to black and white because it's much more powerful. "We generally head out separately early in the morning and reconvene at lunch, then meet again for happy hour and to view photos," Geiger says. "We all have our own photography businesses and these trips inspire us. There's no hoarding of locations and no jealousy…only friendship and mutual respect. We truly enjoy each other's company." Sometimes, one will lead the others to a choice location they've found. "Seeing each other's interpretation of the same subjects is fascinating," Geiger says. This girl was looking down. I took a shot, she heard the shutter and looked right at me. It's a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
