and lined with neoprene on the inside. The tackle station and the refreshment case sit on special rollers for ease of access. The tackle station includes a burr- walnut-veneered drawer with a fly-tying vise, tools, hooks, cotton, and feathers. Underneath this are four reel cases machined out of solid aluminum and trimmed in saddle leather. The refreshment case is also trimmed in leather and includes three metal flasks and a set of Mulliner's signature fine china (though I'm sure you could have it made to hold your own armorial set), and a separate food storage compartment. The top of the case has a quilted-leather finish so the whole thing can be pulled out to serve as a seat. The boot itself contains an electronic dehumidifier to keep things dry and fresh smelling, and all three units may be removed to provide maximum luggage storage. There are special "welcome lights" built into the bottom of the doors that automatically project the Bentley and Mulliner logos onto the ground when the doors are open, but again, your coat of arms, or any other graphic your heart desires, can be substituted. May we suggest, "Po' no mo'?" While the Fly Fishing car is offered as a semi-standard option from Bentley, it is also intended to spark the imagination, because, as Bentley points out, the concept can be adapted to anything. Driven grouse would require storage for your matched set of Boss shotguns, ammunition, bespoke tweed field coat, shooting seat, dog gear, and—if you're the right sort of fellow—the dogs themselves. Stalking would necessitate at least one Westley-Richards rifle, ammunition, bespoke tweed field coat, boots, binoculars, spotting glass, and a walking stick. Equestrian sports would need riding-boot storage, possibly a saddle rack, bridle and bit storage, grooming gear, polo mallets, helmet, knee guards, and a box for your bespoke waterproof riding coat. The options are limited only by your imagination and your personal interests. Once you've dreamed it up, get out of the way and let Bentley and Mulliner git 'er done. n with saddle leather; two landing nets in matching leather bags and stored in a bespoke, carpet-trimmed pocket on the side of your boot (that's trunk to those of us who do our bass fishing in the local stock tank); and the real heart of the affair, three individual units, each lined with saddle leather, that consist of a tackle station, a refreshment case, and a waterproof wader-storage trunk. The wader trunk needs no elucidation, other than to say it is handcrafted and wrapped in saddle leather on the outside and David Redman crystal? That's too easy; may we suggest something more personalized, such as bone china custom- made in the colors of your father's, the late emperor's, racing silks? You get the picture. Like J.P. Morgan's yacht, if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. The Bentayga Fly Fishing model contains everything you need—and then some!—for a day at your private let on the Spey. When I say everything, I include four rods stored in tubes lined 46 • S P O R T I N G C L A S S I C S
