Q. What were you thinking as you drove to Huntsville from Rainsville for the announcement? A. We were discussing on our way to Huntsville that if we won a $500 check, the trip would have been worth it. We were expecting some sort of smaller prize; this type of thing usually doesn't happen to us. Q. How did you feel when a giant check for $65,000 was presented to you? A. It felt pretty awesome! I've never really won anything. Nothing like this. Q. How has winning the $65,000 changed your life? A. Our life has changed, but yet it hasn't. We still drive the same vehicles, live in the same house, and wear the same clothes… no big purchases…so that hasn't changed. What has changed is that those vehicles are now paid for and so the amount of stress in our lives has decreased. Q. Any future purchases in mind? A. Who knows what opportunities will arise. However, as with all things in our life, we will pray about it and see where the Lord leads us.
