It
has been a whirlwind five years
for Jaime Roth. At the start of
2012, she was just a horse rac-
ing fan, but by the end of that
year she had become the proud owner
of four yearling fillies. Fast forward to
2017 and the native New Yorker now
owns 72 horses in partnership with
her parents Larry and Nanci under the
moniker LNJ Foxwoods, after their ini-
tials and the street Roth grew up on in
Great Neck, Long Island.
Entering Roth's apartment in the hip
Manhattan neighborhood of TriBeCa,
visitors are greeted by a floor-to-ceil-
ing portrait of Rachel Alexandra from
the filly's Vogue magazine photoshoot
with fashion photographer Steven
Klein. A few steps down the hall hangs
a Katherine Landikusic painting of the
LNJ silks. In the living room, Roth's
love of horses and racing are evident
with the horse sculptures, a coffee
table book of racing photos and the
