Keith's parents, Clyde and Joan, both served on the Park Board for many years. Keith is keeping the family tradition of public service alive. Keith was appointed to the Board after the passing of Eileen Coursey. One of Eileen's last wishes was for Keith to replace her on the Board. Steven Schmidt grew up and still lives on the far west side of our town. He spent his youth playing Morton Grove Baseball and swimming in Oriole Pool. Steven was appointed to fi nish Commissioner Dan Ashta's term of offi ce when Dan took employment in Florida. I also want to thank Commissioner Georgianne Brunner, who will be leaving the Park Board, for stepping in to fi nish Commissioner Dominic Burdi's term of offi ce when he resigned. Georgianne Brunner was an engaged and competent Park Commissioner. She will be missed. Everyone have a safe & fun summer!
