The two provided this photo of Franny, a French Brittany, on a preserve hunt in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Garrett took the photo and Steve submitted it, garnering them inclusion in this issue and a lighted dog collar from Brite-Strike. The selection was made by popular opinion; the various entries were put on Facebook, with the winner being the one that received the most "likes." To see the other entries on Sporting Classics' Facebook page, and be sure to check out www. brite-strike-hunting.com for great gundog products. n "We cannot but pity the boy who has never fired a gun; he is no more humane, while his education has been sadly neglected." – Henry David Thoreau JACKSON HOLE AUCTION SEEKS ART CONSIGNMENTS Trailside Galleries and Gerald Peters Gallery will present their 11th annual Jackson Hole Art Auction, September 15-16, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
