Not Just Another River Cruise Emerald Liberté Introducing the Emerald Liberté – a smaller version of her big sisters Emerald Sky, Star, Sun and Dawn, but with all the standard comforts you've come to expect from a 'Star Ship'. This ship just has fewer cabins and cruises the Rhône & Saône Rivers in Southern France. On this itinerary, you'll be treated to a romantic French setting with quaint towns and vineyards lining the river banks. Be delighted with the French flavours of Provence including France's gastronomic capital, Lyon. Surround yourself with history and step back in time with visits to the Arles Amphitheatre, Palais des Papes and Hospices de Beaune. You're invited to a traditional French Provençal dinner hosted by local celebrity chef, Fabien Morreale, where you'll be treated to a special highlight dinner on board. This style, also known as terroir, is simply a term used for farm or country-style cuisine. Be comforted by a nourishing meal where freshness and simplicity bring out the true taste of local produce. Also experience a cheese and olive tasting where you'll indulge in a selection of fabulous gourmet cheeses and just picked fresh olives during a tasting extravaganza.
