The 2000-01 Lady Tigers enjoyed another outstanding season. Playing with a young and inexperienced roster, Memphis won the Conference USA Championships title and earned its fiſth NCAA Regional bid in the last six seasons. Freshman Meaghan Francella won the C-USA individual title and was named the league's Freshman of the Year.
