The program's head coach from 1986- 91, Sally Andrews returns to the Lady Tigers as an assistant coach in 2012-13. Overall, Andrew has been associated with Memphis Athletics for over 25 years. During her head coaching tenure, Andrews led Memphis to 31 top-10 finishes and 12 top-five performances, including the program's first tournament title (1988 UAB Lady Blazer Invitational) and four- straight Metro Conference Championships performances of no lower than third place. The Lady Tigers' best Metro Conference Championships finish was second in 1991. Aſter her coaching stint, Andrews moved into athletics department administration, where she worked in compliance.
