A member of head coach Beth Harrelson's second recruiting class, Alex Aläng has been a consistent performer since arriving from Sweden. In three seasons, she has 14 top-20 finishes in 28 events and holds a 77.1 career stroke average. Aläng paced the Lady Tigers to a Conference USA Championships fourth-place finish in 2011, coming in 15th individually. At the 2010 C-USA Championships, Aläng posted the sixth-lowest, three-round total (219) in the program's history. Her 219 score is the second-best by a Lady Tiger at the C-USA Championships.
