As a freshman in 2011-12, Ashleigh Whisenant participated in four tournaments. Whisenant posted a season-low score of 76 twice in the final two rounds of the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate, and she helped the Lady Tigers claim the Memphis Fall Invitational crown. Whisenant performance in the classroom was just as impressive, as she was named a National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar.
