The Lady Tigers are as successful in the classroom as they are on the links. In the 2010 spring semester, the program posted a 3.76 grade- point average, the highest semester GPA in Memphis athletics history. The 2011-12 Lady Tigers were eighth nationally in the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) Team GPA Award rankings with a 3.711 GPA (rankings include all NCAA Division I, II and III programs). This past year, Kathleen Glavin (Exercise and Sport Science) and Marissa Steen (Sport and Leisure Management) both received Outstanding Senior recognition from their respective academic departments.
